Our online Aqua Fitness course allows you to gain your Aqua Fitness certification from anywhere around the world.
Aqua Fitness is a wonderful way for people to get a workout without the impact. This makes it great for people with injuries, seniors, and in pregnancy. Aqua Fitness is also taught at resorts in countries around the world, so it's a great certification to have under your belt if you like to travel for work (or often stay in resorts for free!).
The Online Aqua Fitness course provides you with the digital Aqua Fitness manual (and the hard copy if you choose that version) and a video and access to contacting us throughout for help and any questions you have. You will be required to complete and submit 11 short written assignments plus a final assignment, 8 video assignments, and 3 observation reports (meaning you must attend 3 Aqua Fitness classes). We will mark your assignments thoroughly and give you the feedback you need to feel confident you will be the best instructor you can be.
If you wish to gain BCRPA certification, once you have your Aqua Fitness certificate from Body Blueprint, you are required to teach an 8 hour practicum. To do this, it's important to get to know Aqua Fitness Instructors now so you can find mentors who will allow you to teach parts of their classes with them to gradually work up to your 8 hours. Once you've finished this, you can complete your Instructor Competency Evaluation (ICE), which we can evaluate for you over video.
If you wish to become an Older Adult Instructor, you can take the Older Adult course once you have a specialty module ICE approved by BCRPA.
